Install it on hardware you own

The free plan needs no card. It is the same Windows installer either way: into the WSL distro on this machine, or over SSH onto your Linux box.

The installer (runs on Windows)

AnyDB_Installer.exe runs on Windows and opens by asking how it should reach the target: "WSL direct" installs into this machine's WSL distro with no SSH, or "remote IP / hostname (SSH)" installs onto a Linux host on your network or anywhere else. Either way the installer builds the Docker containers on the target. Installing locally, it also sorts out WSL2 and Docker Engine, boot persistence and LAN access (NAT with automatic port forwarding that survives reboots and internal IP changes).

Manual updater

AnyDB_Updater.exe applies an update locally through WSL or remotely over SSH keys, for when you would rather not use the one-click path.

Onto a Linux host (SSH)

Same installer: pick "remote IP / hostname (SSH)", give it the address and an SSH key or password. A machine on your own network (192.168.x.x) goes the same way. If you would rather do it by hand, docker/install.sh in the delivered bundle runs directly on Linux.

Requirements

Installer runs on: Windows 10 21H2 or later / Windows 11
Installs onto: This machine's WSL2, or any Linux host you can reach over SSH (x86_64)
Virtualisation: WSL2, when installing onto this machine — the installer sets it up
Memory: 16 GB or more recommended
Disk: 40 GB or more free space recommended
Network: Outbound access for licence validation and your chosen LLM provider
LLM key: At least one of OpenAI / Gemini / Anthropic (yours)

Once it is installed

01 Connect your database in the admin console and let it finish scanning the schema and building the semantic index.
02 Add your own LLM provider keys and pick which models to enable.
03 If you want support bots, connect your LINE or Telegram official account.
04 Phones on the same network reach the admin console without any manual port forwarding.
