What the service is
AnyDB.ai is self-hosted software. We licence you to install and run it on your own machines, and we operate the licence validation service and ship updates. The software runs in your environment; we do not host your data and we do not back it up for you.
Plans and billing
FREE, HOME, PRO and ENTERPRISE. Paid plans bill monthly or yearly. Monthly plans renew automatically at the end of each period; you can cancel any time before renewal and access continues to the end of the paid period. The price and plan contents at the time of purchase apply.
Upgrades, downgrades and refunds
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. Time already used is generally non-refundable; where a serious failure on our side made the service unusable, talk to us.
Licence validation and going offline
A paid subscription sends a heartbeat to the licence server every 6 hours carrying only the licence serial, a machine fingerprint and a local signature. Offline, an embedded public key validates the licence for 48 hours. Past that, with an expired licence, features fall back to FREE — your data is not deleted.
Availability
How available the software is on your machine depends on your environment. We make reasonable efforts to keep the licence server up but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
Updates
We publish updates from time to time. An update replaces the application and front end and does not alter your data, settings or certificates. Whether to apply one is your decision, though very old versions may fail licence validation or fall out of support.
Your account and your responsibilities
You are responsible for your administrator credentials and API keys, and for making sure your use complies with the law where you operate. Where you collect data from end users — customers reaching you through a LINE support bot, for example — you are the controller of that data.
Third-party costs
Charges from LLM providers (OpenAI / Gemini / Anthropic), Google APIs, LINE, Telegram and similar services are settled directly between you and that provider and are not part of the subscription.
Termination
You may stop using the software and cancel at any time. We may terminate the licence for a material breach — reselling it, or offering it to third parties as a hosted service, for instance.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The software is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the subscription fees you actually paid in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), with the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance.
